Where Cultural Intelligence
Meets Legal Expertise
IMADRI was founded on the conviction that the most complex disputes — those crossing borders, cultures, and legal systems — require a mediator who truly understands all sides. Not just legally, but culturally and commercially.

The Bridge Team: How We Build Every Engagement
Engagement Composition, Oversight & Continuity
Every IMADRI engagement is supported by a purpose-built Bridge Team assembled around the specific cultural, linguistic, and jurisdictional needs of the parties. Where possible, IMADRI recruits native-speaker translators and regional cultural representatives who bring lived experience of the relevant culture — not merely linguistic competence — drawn from IMADRI's growing network of regional affiliates across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Latin America, and African markets.
Parties who already have their own counsel, cultural advisor, or community representative are welcome to bring that person into the Bridge Team to satisfy one or more of the five roles in IMADRI's methodology. IMADRI does not require exclusive control of team composition. That said, IMADRI retains final authority over the participation, qualifications, and conduct of all team members. IMADRI reserves the right to decline or remove any participant whose conduct, qualifications, or conflict of interest would compromise the neutrality or effectiveness of the engagement.
When Daniel L. Glennon is not available to serve as lead mediator, engagements are conducted by experienced mediators selected personally by Daniel from a vetted network of professionals who share IMADRI's methodology, cultural competency standards, and commitment to confidentiality. Parties are notified in advance of any substitution and retain the right to approve the assigned mediator before the engagement proceeds.
"To provide expert, culturally sensitive, and impartial mediation services that facilitate efficient, confidential, and value-preserving resolutions for complex international commercial and private disputes."

Principles That Guide
Every Engagement
Cultural Intelligence
Genuine cultural fluency — not just language translation — is the foundation of effective international dispute resolution. We understand the unspoken dimensions of cross-cultural conflict.
Impartiality & Integrity
Each IMADRI engagement team maintains strict neutrality while bringing deep cultural understanding to every session. Confidentiality and trust are non-negotiable.
Human-Centered Approach
We treat every dispute as a human story, not just a legal problem. Empathy, dignity, and relationship preservation guide our process.
Innovative Solutions
We combine traditional mediation wisdom with modern techniques to craft durable, creative resolutions that hold across jurisdictions and cultures.
Culturally Matched
Mediation™ Process
Our proprietary four-stage process ensures that cultural context is embedded at every step — not treated as an afterthought.
Cultural Assessment
Before any session begins, we assess the cultural backgrounds, communication styles, and implicit expectations of all parties involved.
Cultural Bridge Team Assembly
Using our trademarked Culturally Matched Mediation™ model, we assemble a five-role team: Daniel L. Glennon as the certified mediator, plus a dedicated translator and cultural liaison for each party — professionals matched to each side's language and lived experience.
Facilitated Dialogue
Sessions are conducted with cultural sensitivity protocols, ensuring all parties feel genuinely heard within their own communication frameworks.
Durable Agreement
We facilitate agreements between the parties that respect the legal requirements of all relevant jurisdictions while honoring cultural norms, values, and long-term relationships.

IMADRI Pro Bono Program
Mediation exists to provide a more accessible, less adversarial path to resolution than litigation. At IMADRI, we believe that access to skilled, culturally intelligent mediation should not be determined solely by financial means. Our Pro Bono Program extends that mission to individuals and families who cannot afford full fees — including conflict-affected diaspora families, low-income workers navigating workplace disputes, and small business owners facing commercial disagreements.
Applications are reviewed personally by our founder. Priority is given to conflict-affected families, survivors of displacement, and parties in cross-cultural disputes where cultural misunderstanding is a primary driver of the conflict. All information is held in strict confidence.
“The measure of a dispute resolution institution is not only who it serves when the fees are paid, but who it stands beside when they are not.”
